1. Declaration of Members’ Interests

ACAF members are appointed for their individual expertise and experience and are not representative of any sector or organisation. Details of their interests can be found in the Register of Members’ Interests available from the ACAF Secretariat or on the website.

Members are asked to declare any relevant changes to their entries in the Register of Members’ Interests at the beginning of each meeting.

2. Draft Minutes of the Previous Meeting - MIN/11/01

Members will consider the draft minutes of the fifty-third meeting and formally adopt them.

3. Update on the TSE Regulations - ACAF/11/07

Members will receive an update from Patrick Burke (Defra) on the latest feed-related developments on the TSE Regulations. The Committee will then be asked to consider Commission proposals on changes to the ban on the use of processed animal protein (PAP) in feed for farmed animals.

4. German Dioxin Incident – Update - ACAF/11/08

Members will receive an update from Dr Ray Smith (ACAF Secretariat) on the latest developments following the German Dioxin Incident (December 2010).

5. Feed safety – potential gaps - ACAF/11/09

Following a brief introduction by Joseph Nicholas (FSA), Members will be asked to consider, potential issues in the UK feed sector that may compromise food safety, in light of the German dioxin incident.

6. Feed additives update - ACAF/11/10

Members will be provided with an oral update from Stephanie Cossom (ACAF Secretariat) on progress with the re-authorisations of feed additives.
