Declaration of Members' Interests
ACAF members are appointed for their individual expertise and experience and are not representative of any sector or organisation. Details of their interests can be found in the Register of Members' Interests available from the ACAF Secretariat or on the website.
Members are asked to declare any relevant changes to their entries in the Register of Members’ Interests at the beginning of each meeting.
Draft minutes of the previous meeting
Members will consider the draft minutes of the sixty-eighth meeting and formally adopt them.
Refuse Derived Fuels
Representatives from the Grain Feed Trade Association (GAFTA) and the Environment Agency, will seek the Committee’s views on potential risks caused by refuse derived fuels.
Update on the Review of the Report on On-farm Feeding Practices
Tim Riley ACAF’s sub group Deputy Chairman will present the final conclusions on the review of the Committee’s report on On-farm Feeding Practices. The Committee will then be asked to adopt the final report document.
British Society of Animal Science – Accreditation Register
Members will receive an update from the British Society of Animal Science on the work this organisation is carrying out on the Accreditation of Animal Scientists and Animal Technologists; many of whom carry out research, teach, and advise on the feeding of farm animals.
Update on EU proposal on medicated feed
A representative from VMD will provide Members with information on European Commission proposals on revising the medicated feedingstuffs regulation.
Food and Veterinary Office - Fact Finding Visit
An official from the FSA will provide members with details of a fact finding visit by the European Commission’s Food and Veterinary Office that took place between 18 and 22 January 2016 on the role of assurance schemes in the UK feed sector.
